West Ham United 2000 shirt

Signed from Sheffield Wednesday in January 1999 for £1.7m, Paolo Di Canio made his West Ham United debut at Selhurst Park on 30 January 1999 in a 0-0 draw against Wimbledon. He scored the BBC Match of the Day of Day goal the Season in March 2000 with a flying volley against Wimbledon and was also voted Hammer of the Year in 2000 too. In all competitions, Di Canio appeared 141 times, scoring 51 goals for West Ham before leaving for Charlton in the summer of 2003.
