West Ham United 1986 Away shirt

In 1985-86 John Lyall's West Ham United finished third in the league, the highest finish in the club's history, and four points off what would have been the club's first ever top division title. Club Captain Alvin Martin (pic) made 40 league appearances, scoring 4 goals, whilst away from home; West Ham's best performance was the 4-0 win at Chelsea on 29 March 1986 when Frank McAvennie, Tony Cottee (2) and Alan Devonshire scored the goals.
